Covid bulletin #64
Dear WWC Valued Members,
Well it's been quite the week, but we continue to focus on the positive and we look forward to
returning to how wonderful Club Life will be once again. As one of our members, Mr. Allan Jacks said, "This too shall pass."
Thank you to so many of our members that sent us their well wishes and kind words of encouragement. Having your support is so important and we really appreciate it!
Please be sure to follow us on our social media platforms listed at the end of this page for daily class reminders, notices etc.

2021 WWC SNOW SCULPTURE CHALLENGE
Let’s all bundle up, get outside and participate in the WWC Snow Sculpture Challenge!
You can work on your sculptures and submit your photos all week long February 1st-6th with our final deadline for our project submissions on Saturday, February 6th at 3:00 pm.
So show us your best snow creations! All ages and skill levels are encouraged, and there are dozens of chances for you to win a prize just by participating! Plus, it’ll be lots of fun, we promise!
What if I don’t know anything about snow sculpting?
No big deal. The important thing is to get out there and have fun! All you need to get started is a little imagination and a block of snow, which is super simple to set up. Simply fill a box with snow, let it sit for a few days, remove the box and voilà!
Pro tip: the bigger, the better… details are easier to sculpt when they’re large since you don’t have to manipulate the snow as finely. Plus, it looks really impressive!
Also, here are some links to get you inspired:
• Check out Matt Morris’ Instagram account, a community snow sculptor from Waterloo, Ontario.
e’s got loads of photos for inspiration and even some video tips!
• How to build your own magical snow fort with tips from the experts.
• Snow sculptures: get some fresh air and have some fun.
• How to make a snow sculpture: easy snow sculpting ideas
• Set aside some time and Google “Snow Sculpture Ideas“!
FRONT OR BACK YARD?
We vote front because then all of your neighbours can enjoy, but you can just pick the best place in your yard.
What if I don’t have enough snow in my yard?
Make a smaller sculpture. Borrow some snow from your neighbours. Wheelbarrow some in from your back yard. Supplement with ice you froze in molds. Get creative — you can do this!
What if I am not available to sculpt on February 6th?
You can sculpt on any day (or days) you want! Just make sure you are finished by 3:00 pm on Saturday, February 6th because that’s when we will start compiling and sharing your creations with the WWC community.
And register by telling Jessica your in to make sure we don’t miss your sculpture!
But how will my creative genius be recognized?
Simply having fun enjoying the great outdoors should be your primary goal, but we get it… prizes are pretty great too! We’ve got dozens of really cool prizes to give out, and we’ll be drawing them at random from all that registered ! Not to mention, photos of all entries will be featured in an online gallery on our website and social media after the event.
Join us at our upcoming BINGO Dates:

HOW IT WORKS
Get your BINGO cards ready! BINGO runs for approximately one hour and can have up to 3 games.
You will use your same card for all 3 games.
PRINT YOUR CARD OR PLAY VIRTUALLY
PRINT- Using your link(s), print your cards and use dabbers, stickers, markers, gems or anything else to mark off your numbers.
Our goal is to fit in 3 rounds in our time, Make sure to print 3 copies of your card.
VIRTUAL- Bring your card up on your device by clicking the link. Once your card is displayed, Click/press on the number when it gets called.
This method will be challenging if you have multiple people playing and if you are using a small device as you will not be able to see both your playing card and the calling card.
Once a round is over press reset and it will clear your card for the next round.
HOW TO WIN
Game 1: 1 line wins
Game 2: 2 lines win
Game 3: Blackout wins
Verifying you have won is easy!
When you have a Bingo yell out “BINGO!”
I will ask you for your BINGO card number- this is the number at the top
