Be sure to visit the Fitness Facility lots this February as all month long we have fun fitness challenges for all members to take part in. All challenges will be posted with full details in the Gym starting Thursday.

WHAT ARE THE CARDIO CHALLENGES?

In the cardio category this year, you can choose from: Running (time to complete 1 mile), Rowing (meters completed in 2 minutes), Jacob’s Ladder (Feet climbed in 2 minutes), Stair Climbing (time to complete .34 miles equal to climbing the CN Tower), Biking (Miles completed in 2 minutes), Skipping (number of consecutive skips without stopping) and our VMX Rope Climb (Feet climbed at Level 5 in 2 minutes)!

INDIVIDUAL CHALLENGES – FEATS STRENGTH AND FITNESS

Our “Feats of strength” and muscular endurance challenges include front plank from elbows (timed endurance holds), push-ups (from toes or knees), wall sits (with legs at 90 degrees, endurance holds) and chin ups (Narrow grip palms facing in).

WILL ANY OF THE CLUB’S ALL-TIME RECORDS FALL THIS YEAR?
